Brew them in a brewing stand. Fuel it with blaze powder, put up to three water bottles in the bottom slots and brew nether wart into them to get Awkward Potions. Then brew in the ingredient for the potion you want, like blaze powder for Strength or sugar for Swiftness. Each brew takes 20 seconds, and one blaze powder lasts 20 brews.
Craft it from 1 blaze rod and 3 cobblestone. Put the blaze rod in the middle of the top row and the cobblestone across the row under it. Blackstone or cobbled deepslate work instead of cobblestone. Blazes drop blaze rods in Nether fortresses.
You skipped the nether wart. Most ingredients brewed straight into a water bottle make a Mundane Potion, which does nothing. Brew nether wart into the water bottles first to make Awkward Potions, then add your ingredient. The only potion you brew straight from water is Weakness.
Brew redstone dust into it to make it last longer, or glowstone dust to make it stronger. Strength lasts 8:00 with redstone, or becomes Strength II for 1:30 with glowstone. A potion can't be both, so glowstone won't brew into a long potion and redstone won't brew into a strong one.
Brew gunpowder into any potion to make a splash potion you can throw. Brew dragon's breath into a splash potion to make it lingering, which leaves a cloud for 30 seconds, but its effect lasts only a quarter as long. For tipped arrows, put a lingering potion in the middle of a crafting table with 8 arrows around it.
Brew a fermented spider eye straight into a water bottle, with no nether wart. It's the only potion that skips the Awkward Potion. Add gunpowder to get the Splash Potion of Weakness you need to cure a zombie villager, then feed it a golden apple.
Brew a cobweb into an Awkward Potion. It lasts 3:00 and can't be made longer or stronger. A mob that dies with Weaving leaves up to 3 cobwebs around it, so splash potions of Weaving let you farm cobwebs.
Only a little. Every recipe in this chart works on Bedrock too. Long Regeneration and long Poison last 2:00 instead of 1:30, and Poison II lasts 0:22. Bedrock also has a Potion of Decay that you can't brew, just like the Potion of Luck on Java.
