Minecraft Chase The Skies 1.21.6 Update: What's New?

The wait is over! Mojang has officially released the next major update, 1.21.6: Chase The Skies! This summer game drop is packed with highly anticipated features, like a new flying mob (the Happy Ghast), player locator bar for multiplayer, a stunning graphical overhaul for Bedrock players (Vibrant Visuals) and more.
Here's everything you need to know about this update...
The Happy Ghast: Your New Flying Mob
The headline feature of this update is undoubtedly the Happy Ghast, a new friendly and rideable flying mob. Getting your own Happy Ghast is a multi-step process:
First, you'll need a Dried Ghast block, which can be found in the Nether or crafted using 8 Ghast Tears and a Soul Sand block.
Place down the Dried Ghast block and submerge it in water for about 20 minutes, which will transform it into a Ghastling, a new cute baby variant.
You can feed the Ghastling snowballs to speed up its growth into a full-sized, smiling Happy Ghast!
Once you have obtained the Happy Ghast, you can use a new Harness item to saddle up and ride your Happy Ghast with up to 3 friends, totaling the amount to 4 people!

Vibrant Visuals (only on Bedrock Edition for now)
Unfortunately, the Vibrant Visuals update will be exclusive to the Bedrock Edition at launch. Java Edition players will have to wait for a future announcement from Mojang.
However, Bedrock players are in for a massive treat. The update introduces Vibrant Visuals, a significant graphical overhaul that adds:
Enhanced Textures,
Beautiful New Lightning,
Shadows,
Upgraded Reflexions,
and more.

Smaller Quality-of-Life Changes
This time Mojang has noticeably listened to community requests. Here's what kind of quality-of-life upgrades comes in the new update:
A new UI element, the Player Locator Bar, will be added to display the position of your companions on a server.
After years of request, saddles will finally be craftable! The recipe will require 3 leather and 1 iron ingot -- pretty cheap.
The crafting recipe for leads has been simplified to just 5 strings and can also now be used to tie two mobs together without being held by a player. Does that mean, I can attach a Villager to a Happy Ghast and... move the Villager around?!
Shears have become more versatile. You can use them to remove saddles, harnesses, leads, and even carpets from mobs and surfaces.
A total of 6 new music tracks composed by Amos Roddy, which will play in various biomes like cherry groves and deserts.
A new music disc titled "Tears" which can be obtained by completing a challenge - wonder which challenge it is...
Clouds have received a visual update to look more connected. Keep an eye out for a hidden Creeper face easter egg.
