The Minecraft Snapshot 25w15a just released a few hours ago, and it introduces a host of exciting features to enhance gameplay. From the debut of the Happy Ghast as the new flying mount to the experimental Locator Bar for multiplayer navigation, this snapshot is packed with so many features!
Key Features in Snapshot 25w15a
Happy Ghast. They are the new flying mount that can carry up to four players. It grows from a Ghastling, which spawns when a Dried Ghast Block is waterlogged for about 20 minutes.
Dried Ghast Block which is found in Nether Fossil structures or crafted using Bone Blocks and Ghast Tears. It also emits sounds and particles during its transformation process!
Harness Items, crafted with Leather, Glass Blocks, and Wool. They allow players to ride Happy Ghasts. Harnesses are also available in 16 different colors, and can be re-dyed.
Locator Bar (Experimental Feature), which is a new UI element to help players locate friends in multiplayer worlds.
New Advancements, such as "Stay Hydrated!" by waterlogging a Dried Ghast Block and "Heart Transplanter" by aligning a Creaking Heart between Pale Oak Logs.
Gameplay Enhancements
Ghast Updates, with improved textures for classic Ghasts.
Ambient Sound Changes to desert block sounds.
Camera Enhancements for increased third-person camera distance when riding large mobs like the Happy Ghast.
Technical Updates
New command such as "/version" and "/waypoint", perfect for server management!
Data Pack version updated to 73 with new attributes, like the "camera_distance".
