This article will show you how to install GeyserMC mod/plugin to your Minecraft Server.

 

Important Information

Please make sure to have the correct server version installed before installing the mod/plugin. As GeyserMC is available for Paper, Spigot, Fabric and other versions! This guide will cover both manual and automatic installation.

 

Installing GeyserMC for Paper/Spigot versions

 

Log in to your WiseHosting Game Panel here and Stop your server.

 

Open the Properties tab, and click on PRESETS button on the top right corner.

Find the CROSSPLAY option and click on Install - wait for the successful installation confirmation, and start your server.

Bedrock players can now join using the same IP and Port that your Java server has!

 

 

Installing GeyserMC for Fabric

Log in to your WiseHosting Game Panel here and Stop your server.

Download the files suitable for your server version from the GeyserMC official site. We suggest downloading both GeyserMC and Floodgate.

Now open up your Game Panel again, find the Files tab and open a folder mods. Upload the two plugins (.jar files) to that folder.

NB! You will also need to install FabricAPI to your mods folder in case you already do not have it installed!

 

Start your server by clicking Start on the Dashboard. Wait for the server to load up so config files are created for the new mods.

After your server has started up, find the Network tab and click on the "Create allocation" button to receive an additional port for Bedrock connections. Remember that port you just created!

 

Then find a freshly created folder Geyser-Fabric from the Files tab -> folder config. Open a file config.yml in there and change the following lines:

Line 15 - port: xxxxx

Update it to be the additional port that you just created in the Network tab.

Line 45 - port: xxxxx

Update this to match your servers primary port (Java connections).

 

Then click on "Save Content" and restart your server.

Bedrock players can now join using the new port and Java IP that you created in the Network tab!
