This article will show you how to add a custom Minecraft server list icon.

The icon is the image displayed in Minecraft server list to customise the player experience.

To set up your server icon you can either use our Minecraft Icon Changer or upload it manually to your server files.

To upload your icon, we will be using the Icon Changer tool in our Game Panel:

Log in to your WiseHosting Game Panel.

Click Manage Server on the preferred server and Stop your server.

Find More from the top bar, and click on Settings.

Scroll to the bottom, and click on Change Icon.

Now upload your image and press Update Server Icon.

Your image will be automatically transformed to PNG file and correct size (64x64px).

Go back to the dashboard and Start your server.

Congratulations, you just uploaded the icon to your server!

How to manually add the server icon?

Now, make sure that the icon you are trying to add is a PNG file and 64x64px in size. If it isn't, make sure to transform it to the correct size and file type. You can find a guide for it HERE.

To upload your icon manually, please repeat the first step:

Log in to your WiseHosting Game Panel.

Click Manage Server on the preferred server and Stop your server.

Click on Files tab.

Before uploading, change your image name to server-icon. If it's done, click on Upload on your Files tab of Game Panel.

Select your icon, and upload it to your server Files list.

The file has to be added to the root directory. This is the main Files tab, containing all files and folders.

Start your server.

Congratulations, you just uploaded your icon manually.
